Central Heating and Installations

Central heating installations have been at the heart of DHS for the last 30 years (with over 10,000 installations completed). During that time there have been significant changes, not just in heating technology but also in the increase in energy costs. Many homes still have old non-condensing boilers which, whilst appropriate when first installed, they will now be costly to run and certainly not environmentally friendly. A modern condensing boiler is over 90% efficient compared with an old boiler whose efficiency is less than 60%. This means high fuel costs and a larger carbon footprint.

At DHS we have some of the most experienced engineers in the industry, allowing us to give you the best possible advice along with a hassle free installation. But of course it is not all about the boiler, but the system itself, the use of thermostatic valves and ‘zoning’ by using, for example, the latest wireless technology which can significantly reduce your heating bills and it doesn’t have to be expensive. Radiator valves can be purchased for less than £10 and wireless zoning for only a few hundred pounds potentially saving you thousands.
